Films: Ice Queen (2005)
Alias: None
Type: Mystical
Location: Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of an average human.
Affiliation: Evil
Summary: Anytime it seems that we unearth one of our earliest ancestors, it blows up in our faces. But at least with those semi-Neanderthals, they weren't empowered by anything that could only be explained by magic. The same can not be said for the Ice Queen.
History: Found dead deep within the Amazon, this frozen maiden from a bygone age was on a plane ride on a course for scientific studying. Unfortunately, some malfunctioning and attempted theft, caused her to wake up, and send the plane she was in careening into a mountain, causing an avalanche that wrecked a ski resort and imprisoned her again. But she and at least one surviving human broke out, and now she stalks the survivors of the avalanche, looking to kill them. Though she's not above wanting to mate with at least one of them.
Notable Kills: Not much can top wrecking an entire resort with a well-timed avalanche.
Final Fate: Eventually, the Ice Queen's apple of her eye lures her into a hot tub, which spells her doom after depriving her of the cold that gives her life. However, a sample of her DNA is claimed by a survivor looking to resurrect her...
Powers/Abilities: None.
Weakness: Extreme heat.
Scariness Factor: 3.5-A savage razor-toothed hag of an ice elemental doesn't exactly sound like the kind of person to be winning any beauty pageants, nor the person you'd want to hook up with. Her weakness doesn't exactly make her the most versatile killer around, but she makes her time in the spotlight count.
Trivia: -The Ice Queen was played by Ami Chorlton, who almost got the voice role of Saphira for 2006's "Eragon", before being replaced with a bigger name in the form of Rachel Weisz.
-This film was originally titled "Avalanche Run".
